Paralives Talking Animations

There isn’t much more exciting to me than getting new videos from the Paralives team. Every video is a new reveal of the cuteness we can expect from the upcoming game.

Today’s reveal shows some of the different styles of animations you can expect from your Paras when they are chatting with each other.

Let’s Deep Dive into the Animations

Flirt Success

The first animation we see is a flirt success where you see Jane flirting with Bianca and it being taken well. My favourite part of this animation is seeing Jane put their hands on their hips in confidence and Bianca getting flushed and looking down. The animation has a real sincerity to it and feels super sweet, I really like this one.

Flirt Fail

The next animation we see in the video is a flirt fail, where Bianca turns down Jane’s advances. In this animation you see Bianca put their hands up and shake their head and Jane steps back and looks a little disappointed. Not every flirt is going to go well and I’m glad Jane steps down immediately.

Talk Mean

Our next animation from the video is Talk Mean which has Jane being mean to Bianca. The mean para shakes their hand and makes a face and the other para looks down and looks upset. My personal feelings on this one are that Jane, the mean para, could look meaner. I want the drama!

Talk Neutral

The next animation is talk neutral which just has the two paras having a pleasant conversation, trading off who speaks. No notes!

Listening to Someone Variation

This animation has a para just being chatted to and is just listening. In this one the para has a neutral look on their face and shakes their head in agreement of what the other para is saying.

Share Tips Assist

In the Share Tips Assist animation the para is giving information to their subject. You see them doing things like pointing their fingers and putting their hand under their chin in pondering.

Talk Friendly With Baby in Arms

The next animation is super sweet and has the para talking to a baby who is in their arms. The animation has the para wagging their finger in the baby’s face in a sweet way and just chatting as the baby coos and kicks their feet.

Talk Friendly with Toddler

It always bothers me when people don’t crouch down to talk to little ones, so having the paras crouch down is so adorable. You’ll see the para get down on one knee and chat with the toddler as they chat back.

Talk Friendly With Baby on Floor

This one made me laugh and brought me back to The Sims 2 when babies would just lay on the floor for hours. In this one the para is crouched down and chatting with the baby. During this the baby is kicking their feet and having their hands reach toward the sky.

Toddler Listening to Someone

In the toddler listening to someone animation you see a toddler aged para sitting and trying to pay attention. It’s hilarious to me because the para doesn’t really pay attention. They go from looking puzzled to laughing to looking at the ground. The entire thing feels really realistic and sweet to me!

These animations are showing just how much care the Paralives team is putting into this game and it makes me so excited to play this.
